Acceptable Use Policy

This Policy applies to Accounts, Albums, invitations, labels, Public Links, reports, downloads and any other use of Photodex. It forms part of the Terms and Conditions. You are responsible for ensuring that you have a lawful basis and necessary rights for what you upload and share.

1. Prohibited content and conduct

You must not create, upload, request, distribute, label, link to or otherwise use the Service for:

• Child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation or grooming of a child, including apparently fictional, altered or AI-generated material where unlawful; any sexual content depicting a person under 18 is prohibited.
• Non-consensual intimate images or intimate-image abuse, including threats to share, voyeurism, deepfakes or fabricated intimate material; sexual violence or exploitation.
• Terrorist content, encouragement of terrorism, violent extremism, unlawful incitement, threats of violence or instructions facilitating serious crime.
• Harassment, stalking, hate crime, credible threats, coercive control, blackmail, doxxing, impersonation, fraud, scams, or material that unlawfully exposes someone's address, location or private information.
• Encouraging or assisting suicide or serious self-harm, particularly where unlawful; threats or instructions that create a serious risk to others.
• Infringing copyright, trade marks, database rights, privacy, confidentiality or other rights; removing rights-management information or repeatedly re-uploading material removed after a valid complaint.
• Malware, malicious links, credential harvesting, spam, automated account creation, scraping, unauthorised access, probing, bypassing quotas or permissions, or overloading the Service.
• Unlawful sexual, violent, discriminatory, defamatory or otherwise illegal material, or any use that assists trafficking, abuse or other crime.

Do not upload material merely because you found it online. Check the rights of the photographer, the privacy of people shown, the purpose of the share, and the audience. Labels can identify non-users. Be especially careful with health, beliefs, sexual life, children's images, precise locations and funeral or memorial material. Do not reveal another person's contact details in an invitation or public Album without good reason.

2. Technical and account rules

Upload only supported image files within the current per-file and plan limits. Do not disguise file type, submit executable content or interfere with validation. Do not share a login, create an Account if under 18, circumvent a suspension, manipulate trial eligibility, or invite people without a legitimate reason. Automated use needs our written agreement unless a non-excludable right applies.

3. What happens after a concern

Please report concerns using the reporting method in the Community and Moderation Policy. We may investigate, limit a Public Link, remove or restrict Content, preserve evidence, suspend or terminate an Account, and refer matters to competent authorities when lawful or required. A serious immediate risk may require action without prior notice. Decisions depend on context, severity, evidence and law. The Terms' liability and statutory-rights provisions still apply.
